Bat or Dragon wings rigging?

Good day guys!
I usually avoid posting threads when trying to figure out how to work something out in 3DS max as I prefer to google everything first to avoid seeming like an idiot, but I guess I'm really desperate this time.
Does anyone know of a detailed tutorial on how to rig a dragon wing? I have looked at a lot of possible links online but didn't get any luck. I am planning to use CAT rig for the dragon's body, but I really am lost on how to do the wing/membrane part. I hope some of you experts could share your expertise and help me get out on this stage that I am currently stuck at.

I once did that with cloth, just pin the edge verts to the bones and prepare for a few days of fiddling with the cloth settings

You would only use cloth if you wanted to apply physics to the wing, like wind for instance. That will increase render time. You should just weight verticies of your model to the appropriate bones. Before you skin the model do a reset xform to make sure symetry will work on the skin modifier. Animate one wing retracted and extended. You can adjust the vertex weighting according to the feedback you get from seeing the effect in real time by scrubbing the playhead through the animation. Get familiar with the weight paint brush because it will help you get a very smooth transition for your wing membrane deform.

When one wing is perfect and you have done one side mirror the weights.
