Keyframing xpresso start time?

Hello!

I have a project where I have a manually keyframed motion from 0-30 and then wish my xpresso setup to begin (on frame 31). I am using 'time node' to control rotation and have tried keyframing the xpresso node enable on/off and the time node itself to be enabled on/off. However, when the enable keyframe is reached in both scenarios, the objects tied to the time rotation jump to (I assume) 31 frames into the rotation - so there is an abrupt jump in rotation values of the objects.

Is there a way to key the start time of the xpresso at the CURRENT 'time' of the keyframe to being rotating? As in do not rotate until frame 31 but keep the same start rotation value?

Thanks in advance!

Ryan

I'm really just after having the xpresso-driven rotation start at a given time and not frame zero. A separate keyframed event takes place before I need the xpresso to begin driving the rotation of my object. But when I keyframe the xpresso node 'enable', the rotation value jumps to further in time instead of beginning rotation at it's current state.

I created a simple example of what is happening.

Sample file

Thank you,

Ryan

here it is.
on the "Controls"-Null, you have a Tab in the AttributeManager where you can set the Count of Rotations and the Start-/Endframe.

Cheers

Thank you very much! I would never have tried that approach. This setup seems to be limited to 10 rotations. How might I increase that number? I didn't see anything in the xpresso that would let me change that number.

Thanks again!
