CUDA kernel compilation failed

Hi there,

I have a Macbook Pro Retina and have I am trying to enable CUDA on my graphics rendering.

I have verified that my graphics card does support CUDA and I have installed its drivers and enabled CUDA on the preferences panel, but as I turn on Cycles Render and on the render tab I select the GPU Device, the rendering windows outputs "CUDA kernel compilation failed, see console for details".

Can someone help me on putting this to work? What does this mean?

Thank you anyway

Hi, you have to start blender from a terminal to see the error message.
Do you have cuda toolkit installed?
I think it is nessesary for OSX.

Cheers, mib.
