Ello CGS!
Tonight I finished the current stage of development with World Machine.
I think I have made all the necessary changes to provide level areas for players.

Here is a screen shot of the island up to this point.

So, does it look good? ...believable?

Next up is to do the final terrain and splat mat set up in Unity.
Then do more Game Testing!

Hello Everyone,
The Unity Migration has begun!

Here is a screenshot of the landscape in Unity.
The Terrain is a 1024 x 1024 Height map & Normal Map with the Pixel Error set to 5.

The player areas are testing out good so far too, I think this one might work

Ello CGS World,
Today I continued working on the Unity Shader and Material set up for the Island Landscape.

Here are a few screenshots of today's progress.

Right now I'm focusing on compositing the different splat map layers together with the overall Color Texture Map and AO from World Machine.

After I get the shader finished, I'll once again finally work on the detailed rock and grass textures before moving on to the scattered boulders, trees, and grass.

Ello Everyone,
Today I've spent a little time trying out some different looking rock textures to get a better feel for what I want to create.

Here is one of the test shots with an image I found from

Do you guys like this direction more than the first?
It kinna reminds me more of a wow environment where as the first one looked more lord of the rings or something....

I'm gonna keep trying out a few more looks, and when I find the one I like best I'll start create my own version for the final Rock Texture.

C&C are always Welcome! Cheers
