HBC-00003: Bullet Time


Our 4-person team made a little one-minute demo in one week for Icons 2008 demoparty. It placed first in wild-compo:

Really nice work, great timing with the sound punctuating the animation and graphic sequences well. For me, the only crit would be that it would've been great to see more of a sense of velocity on the bullet when it's fired, some idea of it tearing through the air as the face forms. Otherwise, really liked it, great work!

hey this is looking great! I just love every animation u make...and quite like the style. thanks for sharing houdini file. (It's been almost 3 months since i used houdini demo and i almost forget it..I think after watching this I will be get back to it.)

Great style - as always!

However, I feel the film grinds a bit to a halt in the middle and never quite picks up the pace again. For productions this short, I think it needs to be very tight all the way through - sort of like a punch in the face - which it seemed to be going towards at the beginning.

Love the look of the gun/bullets at the start!

And I certainly look forward to your ASM prod. of doom later this year.
