Fracturing Objects

Hi there!

I just started out trying to fracture objects using Thrausi plugin but after fracturing it seems to cause some weird stripe/texture on the object.

Here's the before:

And after fracturing:

Would appreciate if some kind soul could help me on this as I'm still new to this! Thanks!

Select the phong tags and set them to about 30°

Thanks for the reply!

But I've tried toying around with the phong, setting it to 30, turning it off etc. It still gives the same creased results though. Is it a limitation of the plugin or something?

i dont know the "thrausi" plugin, but Remotion´s GeoTools/BrokenTasse - Plugin worked out very very well for me, you can see an example here (and also some wireframes of the shattering):

maybe this helps.

Thanks! That seemed to work perfect but now as I try to export using Riptide, it seems that "at least one mesh object contains Ngons with holes". Are there any ways around this?

did you use Remo`s plugin?
why do you have to export them with riptide?
