Cinema 4d r13 any section tool

Hi everyone,

is any way to do a section in a building with cinema 4d r13without bolean? something similar to the 3D max tool that is call section.

is like put a cube where you want to do de section and then this tool draw a line in the box and when you pas this in to CAT you have a line section that you can move around.

I have made a script that will do this. I just need to clean up some code to plublish it.

That would be great!!! I needed recently something like that and working with standard booleans was really painful.

that is what I'm talking about Thank's a lot, pleas let us know when you publish that and where. because I need for my job. will be very useful for cad drawings.

if it covers rendering engines:
1. cindigo has it http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum...=116570#p116570
2. cebas fR's node network has such node
3. also mental-ray has it as:

b. Pavel Ledin has souce p_CSG.cpp in his shader-pack shaders_p_3.3 ... but will be problem with c4d sdk(how implement geometry shading lib as maya has)

Here is my Script. Work not with Hierachies for now.
If I have Time I will make a better Version. But this works.

Instruction:
-Select Object A
-Select Object B
-Run Script
