.mov viewport background

Is there a way to import an .mov file as a viewport background? I'm using 3dsmax 2012 and 2013?

Save it out as an image sequence first it'll be a lot nicer to work with.

Bummer looking for an easy way out

Thanks, I was trying to avoid that every way possible because I have 6 hd videos. But i guess it's the only alternative. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, there's a way to import IF the codecs support 64bit(which they most likely won't).
Image sequence is the way to go, less hassle and less RAM/CPU load.

Cool

I remember mov should work on 32 bit Max, you can try it
