sublevel depending on distance

It would add a super value to the renderer if one could access an objects sublevel in the render tree. Would this be possible att all? It would also open up for area defined tesselation with the help of a texture map or a meta effector.

Another super cool feature would be if one could use square aspect ratio illustrator/other vector files as textures that would rasterize on the fly, like after effects continious razterizing effect.

Even if you got super close to the texture it would stay perfectly sharp. It would be especially good if the Messiah just rasterized the parts that where in the frame to save memory.

Sorry just rambling, but at least the first thing would be super cool.

A sublevel node could clip the values you feed it with to whole numbers, and also have a divide, multiply, add, subtract by __ (choosable nr) option.
