It is not a crit, just a notable thing that doesn't really apply in your case. When we do photo shoots for guitars we "photo tune" them which means that the tuning machines are aligned for a nice symmetrical look. I am doing a model right now and I am debateing on doing "photo tuning" or not. I don't know, maybe I shouldn't worry about those mundane details.

Those contours can be a real pain in the neck. Did you put pickup routes on that body? Or was that not a needed for what you were doing? Just curious.

Martin, Many Thanks for your comment.
telecaustic, you mean boolean? I apply that on scratch plate, not the body. but if you mean a guidance route for pick up..mm..as far as I remember..I also put a guitar image in background at my viewport as a reference to have a look at it occasionally, so I may not have an off placement here and there .

I was just wondering if on the guitar body you included the pickup routes, since the pickgaurd is covering it up I guess you wouldn't need them. I was just curious as to how detailed you got with the modelling. Thats all. It looks really good.

Stratocaster with double humbucked? let me check...
You are right! An HHS model right?

I don't really like the color of the last images, the red is so dull, the hole were you connect the wire(damn i don't know the english name ) should be more reflective even in the first images it don't look cromed, and the last thing the model name on the top is not very visible and I think it would because is tipically black...

however, these are little detail, only a guitar maniac like me will notice...

btw I also don't like Fender... I prefer Ibanez(maybe because I play Ibanez)
sorry for my awful english...
