Softimage nulls, camera and lights to After Effects.

Yep I have searched high and low on the web, I got a few plugins that are about 2 to 5 years ago but non of them seem to work because the scene I have is very large.

The plugins do work but in after effects all the nulls and camera are way off or are not moving at all.

Please help I need to know a workflow on how to get Softimage nulls, cameras and lights to After Effects. I don't care even if the plugin costs money I just need a plugin that can do this between XSI and AE.

Does After Fx accepts Collada or FBX? That is an avenue, another is to export to another 3D or matchmoving app that exports to After FX.

This below is new did you tried it already?

Thanks I will give them all a try although I believe I have a few plugins just like these.

The DAEtoAE exporter does seem very useful I'm going to take a look at it, it might be what I was looking for.

OK here is my update and by the way let my know if there is already a more perfected version of this technique.

First of all the DAEtoAE software is a little buggy so I am still working on that but I have found a super fast way of getting Nulls, Lights and camera movement into AE. the only down side to this is all of the motions happen in 2D but here is how I did this.

I select all the lights and nulls or the ones you want to pin an effect to then drop them into a separate layer then render only that layer, the result is the image you see to the right. Next I track all the points in AE which takes about a min if you have each light or null a different color, finaly I drop all my effects and done.

sorry about image upload quality had a size issue.
