Bake simulation on audio driven lights

Hello,

I've made an audio driven lighting setup animation in Maya 2014 using Bonus tools pack and audio wave node. Basically, the light is scaling according to audio waveform.

The problem is that when I batch render there's nothing going on because there are no actual keyframes. I've tried to use bake simulation, which gave me the first and the last keyframe but nothing in between.

I was following this tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7FbanaAEnY
and this for bake simulation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWewmbJAsMw

However, I'm lost by the point they delete rigid bodies and all the keyframes appear.
Anyone has any idea how to solve my problem? I've already spend two days on that.

Are you baking simulation on the light?

I've used a similar method, but it didn't use rigid bodies, so no deleting needed. I don't see where you have rigid bodies to delete either.

EDIT: Maybe you need to bake the light transform node if its scaled through that..

I'm kind of noobish with this, so hopefully this isn't disinformation.
