Distorted letters

Hello!

In some of the fonts I use (a majority, actually) the O's turn out distorted, has anybody else experienced this? Do you have any idea what to do about it?

Cheers!

It's not clear exactly whats happening, but an alternative is:

Convert your text to paths in illustrator. Export as SVG 1.0, import into Blender. It should work like this, I've had success.

Sadly, not all fonts are created as cleanly as you'd expect... but there may also be a bug in Blenders font treatment.

You're right, that works. Unfortunately this is something I'll be working on over and over again as it's a poster solution for a series of events so it would be so sweet to be able to just replace the text and that's that

The fonts are good quality but I've converted them to TTF through a program, although they seem fine when I open them in other programs. Maybe there's an issue with the translation of the hinting or something.

Anyway, thanks for the answer!
