About add another set of index numbers to mesh vertex
I have a mesh modeled in Maya I export it to FBX and import in a game engine to
render it in run time.
Now I need to modify a part of the vertices in this mesh at game engine side in run time, but I don't
know the indices(there are too many vertices), what I can do now is to select those vertices in maya,
so I want to know is it possible to add another set of continuous indices number(maybe via vertex custom attributes?)
to selected vertices, so I can use this set of indices to identify the vertices at game engine side.
