Spin Units per Sec on Data Operator

How can I determine it?

I have a Quaternions output using R1 as Rotation Angle and V2 as Rotation Axis.
How can I determine how many degrees it will spin in one second, just like the spin operator?

my setup is just like this. nevermind about the numbers and the filter input.

I don't think it's related to ticks, just like speed. It might be something related to degrees.

Ok, i found out that (1/4800)*3,141 = 180 per second.
3,141 = Pi

But i'm stuck here now.

Right now your dealing in radians instead of degrees.

Your real operator switch from output type world unit to degrees.

Also use as speed value --> seconds.

Type in 360 and it will spin 360 degrees in one second based on your max fps.

Yea I do. Planning to post some R&D stuff soon it's been a long time since I've showed any. I've noticed you've been pretty active on vimeo lately.

Yeah, i am. The comunity is really cool there!

Btw, i've seen the FuseFX pipeline video a few days ago, it's sool cool! Are you using a lot of particle flow there? TP as well?

Edit: i've seen you on vimeo already but wasnt sure if it was really you. You should really post some more R&D there

Hey Alvaro,

FuseFx pipeline is awesome. We got a great td's there Changsoo and Aldo writing awesome tools as well as other talented people.

We use PFlow,Thinking Particles and Houdini over at FuseFX.

Our main Houdini guy came from a background in Pflow/box3, Charley Carlat. He keeps telling me to learn Houdini because of how similar the thinking/workflow is to Box 3. Haha we'll see!

Similar to box#3? That's really inspiring
I'm "finishing" my studies on particle flow in a month or something and i'm really divided between TP and Houdini to study next. Since TP is on 3ds max, i though it would be much easier to learn but now i'm divided again.

If you have some close people who knows houdini, you should really learn it dude. From my point of view there's no limitation to that software and, if you start working as a freelancer in the future, you'll be able to do everything in only one software.
