creature design

Modeling a creature from scratch. Made no sketch, just started modeling and this is what I've got so far.. Lotta details 'r' still to come, thought I'd show the progress on this one. Dunno 'bout the horns yet, decide later..

Great modelling, man. I like the horns. I would make them more "sharp", following the shape of the head.

Looks good... pretty creative knowing that you didn't work from some kind of concept sketch or reference art. Good job

I like what you did with the horns, seems to match the flow of the animal... maybe a little bit longer though? I don't think he could use those in a fight. Just my humble opinion, but I think they might look better if they were a little longer. Thanks for the updates! Oh yea, I like the definition on the muscles in the body also

This is definitely what I've meant! Great work! I really can feel the strength of the beast.

Hey thanx guys!

LabRat1: yeah, I know, been working on those horns, I'm not totaly happy with them myself and maybe plan to make them a tiny bit longer next update, appreciate the words..

Pixelschumi: thanx.. The flow of the horns along the head seems to work indeed!

Am working on the teeth now, just placed those big ones in there. Teeth are gonna be a lot, small and spikey. Updating soon.

GREAT man. I like the style.
And I love the first renders. Could you tell as a little bit more about the settings and materials of the first renders?
Which software?

Wow.... very good design so far! I really like the horns and teeth as well, they really flow with his body. His forearms if you want to call it that on his front legs look thin though.
