UV Mapping

I am trying to apply an image to a wavy mesh I created in Blender. I am not sure how to do this. I don't think I have any seams because its one panel so I tried just unwrapping which didn't work. Then I tried marking the edges as seams but this also failed to work. Where are the seams if any and how do I apply an image?

It looks like this : http://www.filedropper.com/screensh...06-13at113537am

Hi Brandon,

1. You can make a seem to every edge which the panel has.

2. You could use a bumpshader. If you do this, light will not show any shadows.

Take care about the light. You will need shadows if you use a homogene material.

If you just unwrap this panel and use a plane material, it will look plane looking from the top.

I am still confused about the seams. Am I marking just the boarder of the entire panel, selecting everything and marking every crease including the corrugation... I keep getting this error: object has a non-uniform scale, unwrap will operate on a non-scaled version of the mesh. On a separate note I am putting an image on the corrugated material.

Thank You,

Brandon

Here are two jpgs. One with the marked seams and one rendered.
As you can see I have marked the frame of the object and all y - seams.
Maybe this helps you a little further.

Try selecting the mesh and then hitting Ctrl-A "Apply Scale".
