Batch rendering in Maya 2011 problem

Hello.

I signed up to the forum to inquire about a issue I've been having with Maya's batch rendering. It does work, but I have a very simple scene that I've been trying to render out and it won't batch render for some odd reason, when other scenes will without a hitch. The scene is of a rotating logo that does one full 360 degree turn in 150 frames. I have a spot light with a physical light node and an IBL with a HDR image to give some reflection. There is also a basic box with a parti volume and transmat material applied. Whenever I try to render this scene out, I get nothing. The renderer runs, but then my CPU activity fades right down and I get nothing after that, then it tells me the render is complete. No images bar one that contains no data in the folder. The thing is, whenever I delete the box that has the parti volume and transmat added, everything then renders fine. It's driving me mad, because the effect I'm after is from the parti volume. The renderer I'm using is Mental Ray.

This is a support forum for the website's support. Not a general application support issue.
If it's a Maya specific issue you are experiencing, which seems to be the case, post in the Maya forums

Ah, I see. Apologies. It's my first time here and the layout of the site was a little confusing. Thanks.
