Adding Different Materials ina Plane

Just wondering, how do I make the side of the plane red, and the other side black.
Can I do it in a cube? Like all six sides have different colors?

Thanks guys!

Just apply your 2 materials to the plane and then, in the attributes of the texture tag, change 'Side' to 'Front' for one material and 'Back' for the other.

cheers

For a cube, you 1st have to make it editable (select the Cube and hit "C" on the keyboard). Then use the Polygon Tool to select one side of the Cube. It will highlight. Then DRAG the material you want to use on that side from the Material Tray and ONTO the highlighted side. That will make a "Selection Tag" which points to that side only. Do the same for all other sides of the cube.
