Weird NURBS Birail problem

Hi--

I'm flummoxed by this weird behavior using Birail. Please see accompanying pics. I'm trying to extrude the small curve along the two larger closed curves. The result of a nearly identical, successful Birail operation is visible adjacent.

Anyone have any ideas about the wrinkling? I've tried scaling, with mixed results.

All help appreciated!

TIA,

You could instead use the nurbs bevel tool. Your profile curve should be exactly reproduced if you use circular arcs and some bevel depth.

Thanks, zaskar! Worked perfectly. I actually used Bevel Plus, then reduced the detail by rebuilding the surface. Pretty unintuitive, but great results.

Thanx again!
