Female Ring Maters/Critique

Hello
I been working on WIP of a possessed female ring master. If some one can give me some critique on her I would greatly appreciate it. She has no head due to the the giant hat that has possesses her.I shooting for her to have a mysterious feel in the end but right now I'm focusing on her anatomy and proportion since this is one of my first female sculpts.
Thank you

-Matt

Honestly: I don't like the gigantic hat the way it is now. For a more cartoony character, maybe, but not for a realistically proportioned character; right now it looks more like an excuse not to make a head.

I see what your saying. If I kept her more cartoony the concept would work better and make more sense.
Ok thanks I'll work with that.

Hi. Not bad as an initial mock-up, but it does need fine tuning, and plenty of proportion alterations. The hands need a lot of work. I don't know at this point if you are intentionally going for an exaggerated cartoon look or realistic look, because there are elements of both extremes here. That's fine when done correctly, but I think of only a few people who really know how to pull that kind of look off well. Pushing the character more in one direction or the other will help here. I don't like the pointy toes on this particular version.
