Walt Turntable Render

Hey guys, I just wanted to share a short video render of my previous Walter White model. I'd thought it'd be interesting for you all to see this. It's really short though and even this took me two weeks to render on my machine. Watch it in HD.

Well it's 150 frames, divide 14 days (336 hours) by that, you get 2.24 hours per frame and that is an estimate.

Oh snap! Thats hectic. Its good you did a camera move to show off the model better!

Is there much difference between a 16bit displacement map and a 32bit? Ive never understood this well. Did you use maya + vray?

Well from my experience so far the 32bit EXR format has always worked best for the displacement map. Worked best as in translated all the details perfectly. What a 32bit format essentially does opposed to 16bit is carry more information and thus gives better results. I used 3ds Max + Vray, sculpted in Mudbox.
