Script question: Batch "Load into stack"?

I really can't figure out a good way to do this:

I have several sets of 3 images each in PNG format with transparency:

XXXX_Color.png / XXXX_Shadow.png / XXXX_Reflection.png
YYYY_Color.png / YYYY_Shadow.png / YYYY_Reflection.png
ZZZZ_Color.png / ZZZZ_Shadow.png / ZZZZ_Reflection.png

As you can see the filenames (before the suffix) are the same in each set, but all sets have different filenames. Now I need a way to merge each set of three into a PSD file with three layers, ideally using only the suffix as layer names. Then the PSD gets saved using only the name before the suffix as a filename:

XXXX.psd
YYYY.psd
ZZZZ.psd

Each one containing the three layers "Color", "Shadow" and "Reflection". But after all the file and layer naming isn't all that important, as those can be changed afterwards as well.

Can this be created with normal Photoshop tools/actions to be turned into a droplet? If possible I'd like to just drag and drop all my files (not just the 3 files of a set, but like 300 files in case of 100 sets) onto a droplet and get the PSDs in the same folder.
