character/enviroment : haunted church

This is a picture i have been working on for some time,in my spare time.
I wanted to make a dark "silent hill" kinda enviroment whit a suitable character .
Soft used : 3dsmax 5.0 and photoshop .

Light setup. For example, during daylight, even in a interior, you should have more light gamma values. This means like having full white and full black values.

I did an auto levels in Photoshop just for you to see what I mean:

Another solution, probabliy the one you fit best, is to light it in a more contrasted way, to get it more "evil".

But then again, just my opinion. Hope I've helped.

great work , nice rendering...
There is some volumetric light to simule the day light , but there isn't any windows or holes in the wall! The place looks closed...The light come from the ghost?

Some dark skills works here...

some details.

Superb Work Man.

The only crit that comes to mind is that the character does not have as much detail as the environment.

Perhaps if the character had a shredded cape (similar to his apron) that gave his movements more effect, that might take the piece to the next level.

Or perhaps the character should have some other treatment like if he was plasmic, like a glowing ghost.

I hope I have not offended anyone by my style of critique.
