FKMaster,

I am a little unclear as to what has been involved in the composite? Is it color correction or have you actually composited the running characters into the scene?

Wow! I had to download your .avi files and reencode them as .mov's. Now I can see your excellent work! Well done! Can I ask what programs/plugins you used to achieve your results!

I'm curious, how did you capture the DVD footage...did you record it as it was played on a TV or is there a way to copy footage from a DVD rom....I have tried with no success at all.....

nice job on the composites

Beautiful, and Milius should be jealous. If only he had this technology 20 years ago.

The 2nd shot is amazing!!! Although I must admit, I prefer the original, sparse, and desolate landscape better for the shot. But that's just one Conan-Fanboy's opinion. http://www.kanefilms.com/conan

Perhaps we will one day see a Conan - Special edition DVD???

Damn, this is hot s**t man!

Which software did you use to create the Mountains w/ Clouds for the second shot? It looks like some real shot, quite IMAX quality :-)

10 guys of your skills and "The little Hobbit" is ready to roll :-)

keep up the good work

Very cool dude, the 1st conan movie is one of my favourite movies of all time.

I'd really like to see where you could go with some of the other scenes of the film - this is really impressive

This should be front page for 3 reasons.

1. It's really good work

2. It is a small download so everyone should see it (I often hesitate to look at show reels if they're too big)

and

3. You deserve a job working on old movie restorations...
