A little bit over a month ago I saw a few images of the Mexican Day of the Dead celebrations and found the makeup really interesting. I decided to work on a new digital illustration. I tried to get away from my usual style and feel which I think I did.

I like it a lot Kurt! How did you accomplish the hair? The paint map for the face is fantastic! Love it!

The hair is fiber mesh shaped in Z-Brush then imported into Maya. I wanted to make the hair fuller but my 5 year old computer was not having it=(...
