Storyboards / pre-visualization: part 1 storyboard

At last I post the storyboard. We were terribly busy but ok the project is finaly done after one more night without sleeping :) . Here the storyboard is a bit special. We didn't had too much time for this project so we were not able to waite for the exacte weather condition to shoot exactly the shot from our storyboard. So we made the timelaps shot and then decide the montage of the film. As there is no realy story it's more a visual and musical sequence it was not disturbing for the creativ process.

we still have a couple of hours to post the final video isn't it?

Storyboards / pre-visualization: part 4 storyboard

the storyboard is a bit longer than the project we have made for the challenge. We choose a trailer format for our project, like most of the entry, but this is realy the trailer of the movie that we will continue after the competition normaly.

We are very glad that you like it!
We didn't had a big time to make a lot of post of our work in progress because most of the movie have been done in the last week of the challenge. I wish we had a bit more free time to spend on this project .

haha that was pretty good! i'd prefer if the 3d characters remained in a 3d env rather than mixed...the animations, rigging and shading were really nice! good job and good luck!

Thank you guys!
I prefer also to control a full CG scene but I got use to work with this kind of character integration with the works I've done this past year which were mostly cg character integration in real footage for commercials. I'm currently working on a introduction sequence for a tv project. It's full cg and it very pleasing to work with. Full control over the light setup without trying to match something existing.

Anybody have an idea about the approximative date for the result of the competition? There is some very good entry's and I'm wondering what will be the verdict.
