Info: Maxscript Resources

MAXSCRIPT DOWNLOADS
--------------------------

Absolutely indispensable for all things script-related is ScriptSpot:
http://www.scriptspot.com/start.htm

Much in the same vein as ScriptSpot is Scripts@tdp.nu:
http://www.tdp.nu/index.shtml
note that this does not appear to be updated as frequently as ScriptSpot.

Aside from here (hopefully!), the best place to go for answers to all your script queries:
The support.discreet.com WebBoard
see the Maxscript section. Registration required.

This guy fields at least half of the Q's on support.discreet.com, but oddly lacks a homepage - Swami Lama. Here's a ScriptSpot listing of his contributions to the community:
Swami's Scripts
for you scripters, don't miss Swami's Wad-O-MXSWads extension!

One of the Lords of Maxscript, IMO - Borislav Petrov (Bobo):
http://www.scriptspot.com/bobo

And the homes of some other noteworthy Maxscripters:

Roger Hyde

Steve Johnson

Herman Saksono

Martijn Van Herk

Chris Subagio

Grant Adam

Ofer Zelichover

Definite "mad props!" go to Meshtools' author Laszlo Sebo, whose website seems to be a bit under construction at the moment

MAXSCRIPT TUTORIALS/HELP
------------------------------

Virtual Republic Boboland
some particle flow tutorials

LOR DVD
a must-have DVD. "Lots of Robots" from Andy Murdock

ScriptSpot Tutorials

Stavit.cz Tutorials

Origamy Design

MAXSCRIPT BOOKS
--------------------

Maxscript and the Sdk for 3d Studio Max

Hi All,

I am also a Maxscript developer (among others).

My web site contains a few Maxscript files and I also have forums where you can post your requests as well as developers questions : http://www.dl3d.com

I also provide on demand training sessions about Max SDK and Maxscript in English with support documents that could be a book (I am thinking about writing one when I have time...

Regards,

Hello,

I also dabble in maxscript but most of my tools are geared towards improving animation workflow.

Feel free to send me script ideas. If a suggestion inspires me, I may well take up the challenge.

Cheers,

MAXScript Made Easy

I've got a new book out, MAXScript Made Easy, an inexpensive downloadable e-book.

This is also the curriculum for the first part of the MAXScript course I teach with Bobo at CGSociety. The current class is already in session, but there will probably be another one offered in May 2007. If you want to be informed when the new class starts, contact biljana@ballisticmedia.net.

even though this tutorial doesnt seem to be quite finished yet. it really taught me some basics of maxscript in a fun interesting way that really made me want to get better at this wonderful scripting language.
