Trying to make a script for night shots
I've come out to idea creating a script which will automatically place (for now) vraysphere lights into selected floor.
So here it is algorythm i want to use for this
1. create bounding box for whole "floor"
2. divide box into segments (which you will determine) , each face-segment resulting box in the future will be a placeholder for light
3. check intersections of all of the "placeholder" with floor walls geometry , delete thus which are intersecting
4. create light in each "placeholder"
in result we will have controllable quantity of lights (by controlling segments of box) and we will not have intersecting lights with geometry.
If you guys can help me optimizing this stuff , maybe you have any better ideas of making this - it will be great ! Thanks a lot !
