TFD Version 1 Tutorials Online

I have now started the version 1 tutorial set will be based on the same format as the older v0.3 ones, there will be an intro tutorial then i will cover all the settings in individual tutorials.

Here is the 45min intro tutorial

You can find this and others on my site

Though i will give examples as we go along these will be used mainly to describe the plugin features, future project based tutorials ( which are in progress) will be more complete ( not only TFD but a whole C4D project) and will refer back to these tuts.

Future project tutorials that have been penciled in :

Car Bomb
Plane/Heli Crash ( Missile Hit ?)
Volcano and pyroclastic flows
Rocket Launch ( think Apollo lift offs)
Slow motion Gun firing
Building explosion/burning/collapsing
Tire burn
Cloud fly Through
Match Moving

and more

If anyone want any TFD work done or advice I am starting to move from hobby based work to pro work so i would be interested in any offers for work.... I am ridiculously cheap !! and very hungry !!! PM me if you want to discuss and projects

OK the second tut is on line now

In this tutorial we are going to look at the resolution settings and how we can increase resolution using such things as upresing, sub-grid detail, velocity displacement and noise

OK the ball is finally rolling, i have uploaded a new tut that covers multiple containers from 1 sim, this includes frame offset as well as using the grid offset to inform the TFD container that it is moving and the sim should take that into consideration. ( so basically you have a moving sim that only needs to be as large as the area of interest as opposed to have a large container statically covering the whole scene)
