Python script Metaballs to mesh

Hi everyone,

I'm writing a python script in which I need to convert metaballs to a mesh. Using the following line of code with the metaball object selected

bpy.ops.convert(target='MESH', keep_original=False)

I get to following error:

"Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python3.3/code.py", line 90, in runcode
exec(code, self.locals)
File "<blender_console>", line 1, in <module>
TypeError: 'BPyOpsSubMod' object is not callable"

Any ideas? The code should do the same operation as pressing alt+c

It is interesting because it works when in Python Console you first create the Metaball with

"bpy.ops.object.metaball_add(type='CAPSULE',view_al ign=False, enter_editmode=False, location=(0,0,0), layers=(False, True, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False, False))",

then convert it with code.

But if you create it in 3D, then in the Python Console do the convert with

"bpy.ops.object.convert(target='MESH')" you get that error.

Seems like a bug.
