Render Settings and Common tab missing

Hi, Maya is missing the Render Settings and Common tab missing for a particalur scene.

I tried deleting the prefs to see if that would restore something but I still get this error message:

# Error: line 1: RuntimeError: file C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2014\Python\lib\site-packages\pymel\internal\ line 134: setAttr: The attribute 'defaultResolution.pixelAspect' is locked or connected and cannot be modified.

Unfortunately, I cant import it into a new scene as I have a bunch of render layers setup.

Anyone know of a work around?
