playblast specific window

Hey I have a simple script to tear off a modelpanel and specify the size, turn off stuff and playblast. Problem is that is tends to playblast whichever window the mouse is over rather than the torn off modelpanel.

Can anyone help add some mel to this?

if (`window -exists playBlastWin`)
deleteUI playBlastWin;

int $renderWidth = 1284;
int $renderHeight = 725;

string $window = `window -w $renderWidth -h $renderHeight playBlastWin`;
paneLayout;
string $modelWin = `modelPanel`;

showWindow $window;
modelEditor -e -allObjects 0 -polymeshes 1 -udm 1 -displayAppearance smoothShaded $modelWin;

performPlayblast 0;

Try making your modelPanel the active view before you do the playblast.

modelEditor -e -av $modelWin;

You can use setFocus to select the window. In Python:
cmds.setFocus('audienceCamPanl')
