Closest point on Curve?
There used to be a script/plugin for creating a closestPointOnCurve node.
You could then use it to return that data. I don't see it in the plug-in list and all the places you can download it are for very old versions of maya. Where doth this useful command hide in maya 2012/2013 and why isn't it just a part of the basic mel commands now? Sometimes we want to, you know, make objects around a curve go towards the curve where they are the closest. Maybe for modelling, maybe for animation, who knows. ![]() Thanks in advance for any info. __________________
