Script Reference?

Is there any place to find something similar to the unity script reference for maya? Basically just somewhere I can search that lists all the common script functions/notation.

Alternatively a good beginner tutorial or something would work too as all I'm trying to do is make a script that selects keys (as in the selection that highlights the thing in red) from user defined x to y. It's strange because highlighting keys on the timeline doesn't send any commands to the script editor so I'm not sure how to do that. "selectKey -time "0:30";" doesn't seem to work for me either.

Any help is appreciated.

And in your script editor, make sure to turn on "echo all commands", "line numbers" and "show stack trace" - they can all be found under history.

You can also query commands using the whatIs command, like this:
whatIs unfold
// Result: Command //

(Maya says "unfold" is a command - and commands you can look up at the link above. If it isn't a command, but say a procedure - then Maya will tell you that and also tell where the MEL file to the script is located.)
Nightshade UV Editor (script for Maya) - Extends Maya's default UV Texture Editor with additional tools.
