Custom Tranform Node does not update on Mayabatch at Scene Open

I have written a custom transform node derived from MPxTransformationMatrix Class.

This node reads a custom transform cache file.

For updating the node , I have an attribute on which I connect with "time" node in a scene or alternatively put an expression on this attribute.

Everything works fine in live scene and captures.

But when we send this on render farm using Mayabatch, the node does not update on scene open. So the first frame is rendered wrong. After that, on the same render node(machine) the next frame is rendered correctly as the scene frame is updated.

I am baffled why the node does not update on the first frame?

Any ideas ?

write a callback to dirty the given nodes on scene open

I would go with script node in the appropriate node that dgdirty or dgeval stuff.

Solved it, we had to update our cpp code for the custom transform and simply add a call to dirtyMatrix() in the main update function.
