Mia material_x Occ in Alpha please help!
I have been working on a scene with mia material _x with ambient occlusion thicked and i have tried meny things with now success to have ambient occlusion in alpha please help i have submited an image of the scene describing the issue. Thanks in advance.
scene is using Physical sun and sky with mia material_x on a plane with alpha cutout texture.

Create a Layered Shader.
Connect a Surface Shader with a amb_occlusion in its Out Color, in Color of Layered Shader.
Connect the file with alpha channel in Transparency of Layered Shader.
Change the Compositing Flag to Layer Texture.
Make a test.

I think you need to be using the Cutout Opacity function in the mia_material_x. It appears you're putting your alpha texture file into the Transparency channel, not the Cutout Opacity channel.
There's no need to render a separate layer or pass if you're just trying to get the opacity correct.
