Vray Render Element Bit Depth

Hello world, we're in the process of migrating from max to maya over here and one very simple thing we were used to doing with vray in max was changing the bit depth of our render elements for our EXR renders.

Much to my surprise, I don't seem to see how you can do this for vRay (2.0) in Maya... Is this possible? We have renders with 32 full float multi-mattes which is just silly. Can you change element bit depth somehow, through scripting or other wizardry? Thanks in advance!

Solitude: fun fact: that's the script for everything
