Instancer and Nparticles not behaving Correctly?

Hi,

I have a bunch of objects that have their center's right in the middle of the geo, which I am trying to instance onto Nparticles.

However, when the geo is instanced onto the nparticles it is floating off the nparticle sphere quite a ways. How can I have the center of the geo be at the middle of the nparticle sphere?

Also, I would like them to subtley rotate in the air as the fall. What is the best way to achieve this? I have tried wind etc. and it is not working.

hi,

Maybe there is a solution:

- select all the meshes you want to use as instance and snap all of them to the origin of the grid (at the same time, with the move tool and the X key)
- then freeze the transformations, center the pivot (might be useless, but do it ...just in case).
- instance the shapes to your particle system.

Hope it helps.
