particle instance of flying bats with multiple geo


I am trying to emit a particle system for a bunch of flying bats.

The problem is, the bats are compiled of multiple pieces of geometry (the head, the wings, and webing etc.).

How can I have the particle emit so that each bat keeps all it's parts together?

How about combining your mesh as a single polygon? After which you can cache your animation with geometry cache.

Not sure if that is the right way, but I will try this method if I encounter this problem.

If i remember right, you can group the parts together and than instance the GroupNode...
