I don't think they'd ship it without it, assuming that's likely the target market of the standalone version. It's not out yet, but I'm sure you could contact them and find out.

Any news about the release date of Fume for Maya? And about Krakatoa?

I heard they are not ready to launch it commercially yet (Fume fx for Maya). The plugin exists, but they do not allow the beta users to use it for production, they want to tweak a few things first, so maybe we can expect - that is my opinion - to see the plugin released somewhere in the first half of 2013.

ive been testing Phoenix FD for maya, and am loving it, however i cant wait to get into these new bits for maya,
anyone know if these will ship with maya or be separate , like a plug in pkg
