I would go more for Thinkin Particles... but krakatoa would also kick ass

Thumbs up

That's a really good news. Me happy.
As for you guys looking for a Krakatoa-like renderer in Maya, you should try Exocortex Fury which is currently in Beta. Really awesome.

Phoneix FD for Maya which is already out is also way super fast & gives kickass detail as Fume FX. but overall its a good news as Autodesk is doing nothing to improve themselves but updates likes this can keep Maya people alive

i'll celebrate when i see it working "AS IT DOES IN MAX". keep in mind maya's core is different from max so a 1:1 port is...well...difficult. Maya's fluid is slow because of the redraw in the viewport. if you command line sim in Maya, the sim is fast..faster i should say. If FumeFX gets ported with out the little preview window then you can just already assume that FumeFx in maya is going to be the same as Maya Fluids.

Why Sad? I don't understand at all.... It's only a gnikcuf plugin, just don't buy it!

Ooh, interesting. As someone that is just now getting into fluid fx, how does maya fluid compare to fume fx? Only thing i've heard is that fume fx is much easier to work with?
