After Effects Tutorial - Demon Eyes

New video Tutorial is online - This time we do some horror demon eyes effects. Very quick and easy to do this one, even if you are quite new to Adobe After Effects and it looks quite real.

Enjoy and please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you would like to see more of these tutorials.

Thanks for watching!

It looks like you were using solid layers to do this (I have to be honest I got pulled away for something). Just as a side note, you could also do this pretty similarly, but with adjustment layers with curves applied to them. Adjusting it with curves instead of black solids allows you to keep a little more detail in the eyes.

Also, using Mocha AE to track the eyes rather than the built in tracker is useful if you have a shaky handheld shot, if you're careful you can even use the track to incorporate scaling and show muscle movement in the eyelid and surrounding facial muscles.

Cool thanks for the reply! I actually still need to play around with Mocha - looks cool though and the build in tracker is not that good haha -

thanks again!

Good tutorial, good pace. Not important but it would be cool if you made the black eyes look a bit better, like giving them just a little bit of shading and highlighting with some radial ramps
