Drawing and Compositing


Is drawing a skill that's needed for digital compositing?

I'm a beginner in compositing, but i would like to take my skills further, untill this point,in all the tutorials and courses I did, drawing seemed never needed but does that change in a more advanced stage?

no, you can be a very good compositor without any drawing skills.

but "traditional" art skills (drawing, painting, clay sculpting, photography) can give you some advantage. you can maybe judge better in terms of image composition, color, shadows, ...
