Pftrack object tracking

I have a simple rectangle shape wich is moved with hands and no camera motion. i would like to track only the object motion, but i cant find any good tutorials. Only ones i have found is with old UI. Also tried to have a look in documentation, but it wasnt helpful enough to get how to do that.

Thanks in advance,
Tom

In theory that's it. In reality it sucks, especially
if you try to add deformable groups. Anyway
good luck.

Thanks for reply, i already find how to do it by having more deep second look in documentation.

If you come up with any useful tips and tricks on the way i'm sure
many users would be interested. I'm a big fan of PF products
but for some reason i cannot get my ( bad it's true ) models to
follow the footage. Maybe i should start with a stabilized plate
but that would cancel most of this tool's benefits.

you need 7 points, but you need just 4 if you have survey data.....unfortunately then only camera will move for you and not the object. i dont know how to switch to moving object yet...but should be possible

In some cases... mask out everything but the moving
object. If it has enough features you could get yourself
a camera solve.
