combining occlusion and shadow in photoshop

Im trying to composit my shadows, and im in the beginner state. But the only thing im having problem with right now is having my cast shadow combined with my ambient occlusion, because the shadows overlap instead of mix together. Could annyone help me out with overcoming this problem, that would be really appreciated thanks.

I tried a few ideas, and tried different blend modes, but nothing seem to fit yet...

(Im rendering in Maya, and compositing in Photoshop)

occlusion is often multiplied on top of the shadows, it's nice to use shadow pass ask a mask for the occlusion too
