Shooting for matchmoving: Best camera movements

Shooting for matchmoving: Best camera movements

Hallo everybody,
I'm studying camera movements for a correct matchmoving and until now I have understand that PA, TILT, ROLL movements are really not good... cause create few parallax effect.
The right camera movements as Dolly, Crab, Boom, and a combination of them. But which is (which are) the best?
Any other suggestions?

Many thanks!

Pretty much anything that creates parallax. Any move has a solution if you provide enough proper track points. If the camera tracks/dollies/cranes/etc you can most certainly let it pan/tilt/roll. It is best to stay away from zooming shots if possible. They're doable, but they can create a headache of a solve. What application will you be using for the solve?

Hi J,
I use Matchmover but also Boujou and Synteyes.
