Nuke Godrays Pass (Maya)

How would I go about generating a pass to use for godrays in nuke?

Here's an image of the (very incomplete) scene in question. Res is low because this computer is too slow to render any higher.

There is going to be a godray coming in through the open window, part of this godray will be roto'd out in the form of a ghostly figure sitting on the stool to the right.

It's been months since I've used nuke and I've completely forgotten a lot of things.

alpha for the windows is all you really need out of maya. In Nuke, maybe create a noise node inside the window alpha to break up the solid white.

Hmm not to be rude but I still don't have a clue what to do...

Also I've changed the composition so the camera is a LOT closer to the scene (still playing with it, too).

use the alpha of the windows (as suggest before) and add a "godray" or "volume ray" node to it

Can someone walk me through it?

I separate out the objects, then? So I just have the window alpha and everything else is black?

Then how do I attach a godray specifically to that alpha, with a tracker maybe?

I'm really unsure of what you're saying to do - I've never had to do a pass for a ray before and it's been ages since I did any form of compositing whatsoever :/

Think I realized what you guys meant to do now.

Just make an alpha of the objects that form the window frame and use that to mask out the ray?

I was overcomplicating it in my head.
