there are a huge amount of tutorials online, even alot of free ones. some of them come with footage (mostly the paid ones)

there is a lot of stockfootage for free availible, you can even use watermarked stuff for practicing. you can use hd movie trailers, footage from youtube or vimeo or shoot some stuff by yourself (even with your cell phone)

it gets a little more complicated if you want to train on cg stuff

Shoot your own footage. Everyone phone comes with a camera, plus it's a nice challenge to degrade CG and integrate it into crappy phone quality video. Make something cool happen that someone with a phone would capture out on the street.

I get my greenscreen footage from, once I got some footage from, and if I see a photo of a greenscreen/bluescreen set on a fxguide article then I sometimes download the photo and try keying/compositing it. Once I got a background from

And yes, I sometimes shoot my own footage
