meshFillet - modeling tool for Maya similar to MeshFusion

Today i was browsing around various forums for Maya and on SOuP forum i saw this very interesting thread about modeling tool for Maya. What is even more interesting, it looks almost like it could be MeshFusion for Modo.

Here's the video:
--> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-ccEk3P5g0

SOuP forum thread:
--> http://soup-dev.websitetoolbox.com/...ng-node-6585636

To me seems like this one has huge possibilities to bring it on even higher level then what is shown on the video. The problem is that developer didn't actually made proper plugin-in since, i'll quote him:

"Hi, unfortunately I haven't the time to implement my idea in nodes (with python, no c++ skills..)
To do that I would pay a programmer to build it, but at the moment I can't.
If someone is interested to write the nodes I can share the scripts...
"

Last sentence is very interesting! So, i wanted to post it here on forum in hope there is someone with enough knowledge and time to make this happen.

Taking into account that you would not have to make it from scratch since scripts are there and if you put a price on it (or not, however you agree with the guy who made this) i bet nobody would mind at all. Also new boolean algorithm in Maya extension is much more reliable to perform boolean operation so there is another big plus.
Since there is big interest in MeshFusion for Modo i guess a lot of people, including myself, would welcome proper plugin of this with arms wide open. Super useful stuff for hard surface modeling.

What do you guys think about this? Anyone interested?

I'd be interested in investing it for sure, any way to contact the creator?

I'm trying to contact him. As soon as i have something i'll post it here and send you PM.

It would be a shame not to make it when as I can see a lot of work has already been done.

Hi guys, sorry for my absence but was on holiday..
At the moment I've been contacted from a programmer interested in building a commercial version of my scripts..

If the project goes in the right direction we will have a plug-in similar to mesh fusion in maya.
If for any reason the commercial version will not see the light, I will share the tools as they are..or I will search for other partners, because at the moment I haven't money to spend on this.

Thanks for your interest.

This looks great, I do LOTS of hard surface modeling for thing like beauty products and such. This looks like it could be such a time saver. Definitely following this one closely.

Wow, how many times in the past could I have used something like this on a project? Can't wait to see it roll out!
